ABOUT the ARTIST
Ziggy Waters has been practicing the art of tattoo for eight years and has developed a reputable reputation as one of Waikato's finest young tattoo artists.
He started his tattoo career in Ohio, USA where he refined his skills as a mainstream tattooist and learnt some valuable lessons beside Fremont local Luke Cole at Lucky Luke's Tattoo Studio.
Ziggy brought these skills and qualifications back to New Zealand and continued to build his profile at Hamilton tattoo studio Famous Daves.
In 2009 he ventured off on his own and started Inked Up in his hometown of Ngaruawahia where his clientele continues to expand as word of mouth spreads.
Of Maaori and European ancestry Ziggy is qualified to practice both mainstream tattooing and taa moko.
He currently lives in Ngaruawahia with his partner Sam and their two boys Kymani and Navarre.
